...oh, what the hell.

The question doesn't really apply to me, I don't do movie theatres. Would I watch it? Again, no go, "true life" stuff just ain't my style in any event. So to get to yer real question, I think its inappropriate and too soon at best for something like it to have even been done.

No. I hate shows that are based on information no one can really know. I'm sure it'll be done with taste, but still.........

This is a very good discussion (5 pages so far) on another of my forums in which I only got moderately involved in.

However, I find myself wholly agreeing with Iwata and seeing his points.

Fuckin' Hollywood runnin' out of ideas. Of course there'll probably be a sequel.

    Cool

I know there's a lot of hoopla about "profit from catastrophe" but I don't recall any of the same bitching when the last 3 Titanic movies were made... or any of the "based on actual events" movies came out...

I know it's still a fresh wound to those who actually lost loved ones but nobody is making them watch it.

Me? I have no interest in "true life" stories... damn near killed me to watch Walk The Line the other night. I want entertainment. Fiction. Fun. I already have a life to watch every day.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">that's EXACTLY what i was saying to my husband after i saw the previews.... how are they going to make a movie about something when there were no survivors, where as with the titanic there was plenty of people to tell what happened on the ship. i am sure i will watch it when it gets to dvd.

The Titanic was an accident. This involves terrorists wanting to kill innocent people. And somebody is going to make a buck off this?

Of course, Speilberg made some money off of "Shindler's List".
